Resources for Students
Here is a list of online resources you can use for your research in Art History. The library is the best place to start your research: “The RISD Library’s Research and Instruction Department supports all levels of inquiry, research, and instruction through our commitment to excellent service and staff expertise. Research and Instruction Librarians are available to facilitate your research and guide you in finding and using the most relevant print and digital sources. Schedule an individual appointment in advance to ensure uninterrupted time with a librarian. The Center for Arts and Language is also an excellent resource available to you at RISD. The center provides students with academic support, tutoring for writing, English language support for multilingual students, and advising and infrastructure for student publications. The center also has excellent handouts on Writing and Reading Strategies, The Academic Paper, Research, Grammar, etc., with helpful tips for conducting research and writing papers.
