RISD MUSEUM FELLOWS PROGRAM

Please complete this form carefully. Within 5 to 7 business days after the receipt of your request, you will receive an application form via email.
If you are NOT in “good academic standing” by the end of the current semester, use the form below explain why you should be considered for the Museum Fellows Program.
The Concentration Coordinator would make a determination based on your explanation and will inform you of her/his decision within 7 business days.

Eligibility

This section determines whether you are eligible for applying to the Museum Fellows Program. As for required courses indicated below, consider the courses you are anticipating to pass by the end of the current semester. If you are no certain that you will pass any of your THAD classes by the end of the current semester, talk to your professor before declaring them as acquired credits here.

Mark all that apply:

1. I am a THAD concentrator.

2. I have successfully completed both THAD introductory courses: H101 and H102.

3. I have successfully completed (or will complete by the end of this semester) 3 elective courses (seminars or lectures).

4. I have received no grade below C+ in all of the five courses mentioned in options number 2 and 3 (above).

If you have checked all 4 boxes above, you can ignore the section below and submit the form. If you haven’t checked all the boxes, please complete the section below “Exemption from Academic Good Standing.”

Exemption from Academic Good Standing

If you are not in good academic standing by the end of the current semester, explain why you should be considered for the Museum Fellows Program. The Concentration Coordinator would make a determination based on your explanation and will inform you of her/his decision within 7 business days.
